ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT
During the next few years juniors begin their journey towards ‘learning to train’. The primary emphasis continues on general development with the addition of some sport-specific skills. Juniors continue to build their athletic foundations in agility, balance, strength, co-ordination and speed. With upholding basic strength skills, juniors stay on track to develop their understanding and quality of movement.

TRAINING TO WIN
Academy-aged athletes experience a gradual shift to more structured training sessions. Programme design begins to include further integrations of sport-specific strength and movement skills. We aim for academy aged athletes to have a solid ability to perform fundamental skills and be proficient and a range of strength skills.
Achieving this, allows athletes to include a multitude of training methods and obtain an optimal training effect for top performance.
